Job summary

The Future University is seeking a Senior Expo Engineer to lead mobile engineering for a modern trading platform used by Indian investors. You will own the mobile stack, shape architecture, and ensure a fast, reliable, and secure app for high-value transactions.

You will drive end-to-end mobile development, mentor engineers, and own the OTA update strategy and release cadence. This role demands strong React Native, Expo, and TypeScript skills and a track record of delivering robust mobile

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on mobile development, with 3+ years focused on React Native/Expo.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency.
• Deep understanding of React Native fundamentals — components, hooks, state management.
• Experience with the Expo ecosystem — EAS Build, EAS Update, config plugins.
• Cross-platform deployment experience — App Store and Play Store publishing.
• Native-module integration experience when needed (iOS/Android bridges).
• Mobile architecture patterns — Redux/Zustand, React Navigation, offline handling.
• Performance profiling and optimization on mobile.
• Prior experience leading mobile stacks or mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prior work on high-traffic consumer apps (100K+ MAUs)


• Contributions to open-source React Native projects
