OutSystems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the Agentic Nexus Team. You will design and implement core AI platform features, including semantic search, RAG systems, and enterprise context graphs that power intelligent agentic workflows.
You will lead the technical design for knowledge graph solutions, integrate foundation models with scalable data infrastructure, and establish observability using OpenTelemetry across distributed systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of core AI-powered features within the Agentic Nexus platform. You will work on complex technical challenges spanning semantic search, RAG systems, knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI agents, while establishing observability standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in how enterprises leverage AI for intelligent data management and agentic automation.
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. Equivalent experience in software development will also be considered for exceptional candidates
5+ years in software development: distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, or data-intensive applications.
Proficiency in C#, Go, Python and Java.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and messaging technologies such as Kafka/NATS.
Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
Proven ability to debug complex issues, work independently, and drive projects to completion.
