Job summary

ITC Infotech in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer proficient in AWS and Python to design and develop cloud-native applications. You will work on Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, and related AWS services.

A strong understanding of REST APIs, IaC with CDK, and GitHub CI/CD is required. You will contribute to the product roadmap, maintain existing applications per enterprise standards, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience developing and supporting applications on AWS and Python.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications in AWS and Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with API Gateway and OAuth (Okta).
• Work with AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM and Glue.
• Maintain existing applications per enterprise best practices.
• Collaborate to understand product roadmap and deliver accordingly.
• Work from office as per scheduled hours.

• Cloud Platform AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, Glue


• Programming Python


• Infrastructure as Code AWS CDK


• API Development RESTful API design, API Gateway, OAuth (Okta)


• Databases DynamoDB, SQL Server (advanced)


• Messaging / Event-Driven SQS (standard queues, DLQ, fan-out patterns), event-driven architecture


• Version Control / CI/CD GitHub, CI/CD pipeline configuration


• Senior Software Engineer 5 to 8 years' experience


• Should be able to develop & support applications in AWS and Python


• Good understanding of Rest APIs


• Good understanding of Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, Glue


• Have good understanding of functional and non-functional requirements.


• Understand the product roadmap and provide best way to achieve the same.
