Job summary

Google India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Cloud Migration to drive AI-first design across large enterprise migration services. You will architect and guide integration of AI into products and internal processes, tackling deep technical problems and ensuring scalable, reliable solutions on Google Cloud.

Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Migration

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 8 years of experience building enterprise grade software including design, implementation (e.g., backend) and testing. Experience with technologies related to enterprise applications, including virtualization, storage, networking, etc. Experience with coding in one or more languages such as Python, Scala, Java, Go, or similar with data structures and algorithms, and software design. Experience working with cloud services and solutions (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) and contributing to the design of systems running on these platforms.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with migrating or modernizing enterprise applications. Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) design and integration. Solid understanding of Enterprise customer needs and experience working on enterprise-grade software. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
