Job summary

Google India Pvt Ltd is hiring a Software Engineer III, AI/ML for Google Cloud. You will contribute to building scalable AI features, deploying models, and advancing core GenAI capabilities across text, image, video, and audio modalities.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end ML solutions, from front-end to serving and modeling, while tackling big-data challenges at scale in a fast-paced environment. Senior level responsibilities include leadership and versatility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of ML infrastructure experience (deployment, evaluation, data processing).
• 1 year of GenAI concepts experience (LLM, multimodal, vision models).

Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• 1 year of experience with core GenAI concepts (LLM, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).
• Experience with text, image, video, or audio generation.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• 5 years of experience in software development or ML.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture or experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models), GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision), ML algorithms and tools (e.g. TensorFlow), or NLP.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Machine Learning Infrastructure, AI Platform, Python, C++.
