Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to design, develop and test core CAD/CAM software components for a specialized product. You will work closely with architects and product teams to deliver features in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of CAD/CAM/CAE software development experience, strong C/C++/Java/C#.NET skills, and a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms. Collaboration, code reviews and mentoring are part of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science / mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of CAD/CAM/CAE software development experience.
• Experience developing for Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, C#.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio and Eclipse.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and OOP.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Experience working on large, complex codebases.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
