Job summary

Vericut in Pune, India seeks an experienced Sr Software Engineer to design and implement core features of a specialized CAD/CAM software, working with architects and product teams.

You will lead development, review code, mentor juniors, and optimize performance for large data sets, with a strong emphasis on data structures, algorithms, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science / mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of CAD/CAM/CAE software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, Java, C#.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio, Eclipse.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and OOP.
• Experience with agile software development and large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software to resolve defects and implement new functionality.
• Utilize modern development practices to solve complex problems in the domain.
• Optimize performance and memory usage for large datasets.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical discussions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement core features of a specialized CAD/CAM software, working closely with architects and product teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
