Job summary

TeamViewer in India seeks an experienced software engineer to design and develop scalable server and user authentication features using C++ and C#.

The role requires strong backend skills in .NET, React/Typescript knowledge is a plus, and a proven track record with 8+ years in software development. Fluency in English is mandatory.

You will collaborate with product owners, ensure code quality, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility across millions of installations.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven background with C++ and understanding of software engineering principles.
• Proficient in C# backend development and the .NET framework.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (React, Typescript) is advantageous.
• Fluency in English mandatory; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality for high-scaling server and user authentication modules using C++ and C#.
• Contribute to application design to improve reliability, maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Work independently on solutions for specified requirements respecting time/quality specs.
• Ensure software runs stably and efficiently across browsers and systems (billions of installations).
• Advise product owners on feasibility studies and time estimates for new features.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality for our high scaling server and user authentication modules using C++ and C#
• Continuously participate in application design to further enhance our systems and code base regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, and efficiency
• Work independently on solutions for specified requirements and be responsible for complying with time and quality specifications
• Ensure that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many different browsers and systems (more than 2.5 billion installations)
• Act as an advisor towards product owners (feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionality to be implemented)

Requirements

• University or college degree in the field of computer science, software engineering, or any other related subject
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proven background in working with C++ and understanding of software engineering principles
• Profound knowledge of C# backend development and the .NET framework
• Knowledge in JavaScript (React, Typescript) is advantageous
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus
