Job summary

Epiroc Mining India in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong C++ skills to design, develop and maintain complex software for embedded systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions and participate in Scrum ceremonies to drive iterative delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of hands-on experience with C++, embedded systems, Linux, and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications using C++ programming language.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions for embedded systems.
  
• Develop expertise in Agentic AI, OOPS concepts, Linux operating system, communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), control systems (e.g., SCADA).
  
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  
• Utilize tools like GIT version control system and JIRA issue tracking tool.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of experience in software development with a strong background in C++ programming language.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) or Information Technology (B.Tech / B.E.).
  
• Proficiency in working with Embedded Systems, Control Systems, Communication Protocols & Linux Operating System.
  
• Experience with Agile Methodology & Scrum framework; ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
