Job summary

Tata Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Bootloader to join our embedded systems team. You will work on AUTOSAR architectures, UDS Flash bootloader workflows and real-time debugging.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, hands-on expertise with CAN/Ethernet Diag, cryptography, and safety standards, plus strong problem solving and autonomous work style. Immediate notice period preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOSAR architecture, UDS Flash bootloader workflows and related debugging.
• Hands-on exposure to Diag and Memory stacks (FLS, FEE, NVM).
• Background in cybersecurity concepts including secure boot and HSM.
• Strong C programming skills and cryptography knowledge (AES, RSA).
• Experience configuring Diag, CAN and Ethernet stacks; NVM manager.
• Proficiency with tools EB Tresos, Isolar, CANoe and Lauterbach.
• Awareness of Infineon Aurix MCUs; familiarity with Functional Safety/ASIL.
• Comfort working in Agile environments; strong problem solving and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate bootloader components for automotive ECUs.
• Configure and validate Diag, CAN and Ethernet stacks and memory managers.
• Apply cybersecurity measures including secure boot and cryptographic operations.
• Debug, profile and optimize embedded software in AUTOSAR environments.

Bootloader Job Description

• Expertise in classic AUTOSAR architecture, UDS Flash Bootloader architecture and workflow.
• Hands on experience in configuring AUTOSAR Diag stack and Memory Stack (FLS, FEE, NVM)
• Hands on experience in Cybersecurity (Secure Flash, Secure Boot, HSM, Crypto knowledge)
• Expertise in manual C coding and debugging
• Good knowledge of Cryptographic algorithms like AES, RSA.
• Hands on experience in configuring Diag, Com Stack (CAN and Ethernet)
• Hands on experience in configuring NVM manager.
• Tools - EB Tresos, Isolar, CANoe, Lauterbach
• Knowledge of Micro controller architecture (Infineon Aurix knowledge is added advantage)
• Experience in Functional Safety and ASIL is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of system modeling with standard tools
