Job summary

Cyient in Bengaluru seeks a Flash Bootloader Engineer with 6–8 years of experience to lead the development, integration, and maintenance of automotive flash bootloaders for ECU programming, diagnostics, and software updates.

You will design bootloader software for ECUs, implement reprogramming via UDS over CAN/CAN FD, LIN and DoIP, and support secure flashing, secure boot, and software update mechanisms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Design and develop Flash Bootloader software for automotive ECUs.
• Experience with ECU reprogramming using UDS over CAN/CAN FD, LIN and Ethernet (DoIP).
• Knowledge of secure flashing, secure boot and software update mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer requirements.

Job Summary

Responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of automotive Flash Bootloaders for ECU programming, diagnostics, and software updates.

• Design and develop Flash Bootloader software for automotive ECUs.
• Implement ECU reprogrammingusing UDS over CAN/CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet (DoIP).

• Collaborate with system, application, and validation teams to deliver customer requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong Embedded C programming skills.
• Know how on AURIX, Cypress Traveo II, RH850.
• Experience in Vector & Elektrobit Flash Bootloader deployment.
• Knowledge of UDS, CAN/CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet diagnostics.
• Understanding of microcontrollers, memory management, and debugging tools (Trace32, Lauterbach, iSystem etc.).
