Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building production-grade systems.
• Strong expertise in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Go, C#).
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native architectures.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs with security and performance in mind.
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Comfortable in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable services and distributed systems for Konovo’s AI-enabled platform.
• Write high-quality, testable code following engineering best practices.
• Partner with LITE team and product squads to integrate AI capabilities into core systems.
• Lead technical design discussions, drive architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and observability across services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to refine requirements and ensure feasibility.
• Contribute to secure, compliant engineering practices for healthcare data standards.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and architectural improvements.
• Support release readiness, deployment processes, and post-release monitoring.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Design, build, andmaintainscalable services and distributed systems that support Konovo’s AI-enabled healthcare insights platform

What We're Looking For:

• 6-10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building production-grade systems
• Strongexpertisein at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#) and familiarity with modern frameworks
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native architectures
• Strong experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs, with a solid understanding of API best practices, security, and performance patterns
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and API design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong foundationin data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Comfortableworking in Agile environments and collaborating across product and engineering teams
• Experience working with platform or internal enablement teams is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly—both written and verbal
