Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to design, development, and maintenance of scalable software within an agile team. You will work across the stack using Node.js/Java and modern frontend frameworks to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities include owning a sub-module, reviewing requirements, documenting designs with the tech-lead, mentoring juniors, performing code reviews, and delivering production-ready code with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience in backend systems with JavaScript (Node.js) or Java and frameworks like Express.js, Spring Boot.
• Experience with frontend stacks (Angular, React, Vue.js/Next.js) and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Job Summary As a Software Engineer II at NCR VOYIX, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions, working within an agile team to deliver high-quality products that enhance customer experiences and business operations.

Job Responsibilities

• The role is a full stack senior software developer using different web technologies e.g. HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, Nest JS, Next JS Angular or ReactJS. Server technologies e.g. J2EE, J2SE, other web server technologies and one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Google or Azure).

Skillset Requirements

Strong experience in developing backend systems JavaScript (Node.js) or Java, along with frameworks like Express.js, and Spring Boot, and databases like MySQL or MongoDB. Prior experience [minimum 2+ years] in stack Angular JS CSS, Java Script, HTML5, Boot Strap or React /Vue.JS/Next.Js and overall experience of 4+ years in software development. Ability to work in a team structure and deliver projects on time. Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills in super changing environment Understanding of algorithms and data structures. Should have knowledge on any of the Cloud Technologies [AWS/Azure/GCP]. Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business and technical requirements Ability to document the requirements inform of word document and/or UML diagrams.
