We use this capability to provide our clients with unlocked insights into their data.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product Data Engineering organization. This job involves designing and maintaining big data web & engineering solutions capable of running efficiently and robustly at petabyte scale.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own features and components end to end, contribute to technical design conversations, and begin to support the growth of engineers around you. You will work within a team but take responsibility for quality across the full lifecycle of your work.

What You Will Do:
  • Own the design and implementation of well-scoped features and system components, end to end
  • Write production-quality code with minimal guidance, including tests, documentation, and observability
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing useful and constructive feedback to peers
  • Use AI coding assistants fluently as part of your everyday development workflow — using them to draft, refactor, generate test cases, and explore approaches — while taking clear ownership of the code you ship
  • Debug and resolve issues in production systems, including those you did not write
  • Define data models which tie together large datasets from multiple data sources.
  • Design, Implement and maintain Data pipelines and data driven solutions.
  • Build data platform at scale using AWS and Snowflake to solve complex business use cases.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Release Management, Research and Operations teams
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to deliver on product requirements
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 4 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience
  • 3+ years developing software using Python, Java or Scala in Linux environment
  • 3+ years Big Data Technologies – Cloud and/or On-Prem. AWS EMR or similar, Spark, Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Ability to understand & improve enterprise software apps while factoring in overall design goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Fluency with AI development tools — able to use them efficiently across the development lifecycle, with sound judgment about when to rely on them and when to verify carefully
Nice to Have:
  • Hands-On experience with Snowflake or similar
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience in Scala
  • Strong background in DevOps related practices (CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, infrastructure automation, etc.)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
