Qualifications

Position Title: Senior Software Engineer – Software Development

Job Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code by following established coding standards and software engineering best practices.
• System Design: Participate in technical and architecture discussions and recommend scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Problem Solving: Analyze business and technical requirements, troubleshoot complex application issues, identify root causes, and optimize application performance.
• Testing: Develop and support unit and integration tests and participate in debugging and defect resolution.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, development frameworks, and engineering practices and identify opportunities to enhance product capabilities and development efficiency.

Desired Qualification / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Preferred Relevant Work Experience:

• 6–8 years of professional software development experience, preferably involving end-to-end application development.
• Experience with relational databases and application integration through APIs.
• Exposure to AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD environments, and Agile software development methodologies is preferred.

Skills and knowledge:

• Understanding unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and software development best practices.
• Exposure to AWS cloud technologies is preferred.
• AWS or relevant technology certifications would be an added advantage but are not mandatory.
