Job summary

Kaseya in Pune is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain capabilities across enterprise SaaS platforms. This hands-on role involves owning significant technical work, collaborating across teams, and delivering secure, scalable software for complex IT environments.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years with C#/.NET, familiarity with functional programming, distributed systems, and experience across macOS/Linux.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Proficient in functional programming with F# or willing to learn.
• Strong knowledge of Win32 APIs and networking protocols.
• Experience with IPC and distributed systems.
• Writes clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools for generation and reviews.
• Experience developing for macOS and/or Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain features for enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Contribute to design reviews, debugging, and production support.

Position Summary

Kaseya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain key capabilities across enterprise software platforms. This role will contribute to secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions that support customers operating complex business and technology environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can own significant technical work, collaborate across teams, and help improve engineering quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features for enterprise SaaS platforms and related product capabilities.
• Build reliable and scalable services, APIs, platform components, integrations, and customer-facing capabilities.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, UX/UI, operations, and other engineers to deliver roadmap commitments.
• Contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, security, maintainability, automation, and observability.
• Follow and help improve agile development, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, code review, and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs clearly to team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Able to work with functional programming using F# or willing to learn
• Very good knowledge around the Win32 API's
• Solid knowledge of different networking protocols like HTTP, TLS and WebSockets
• Experience with different IPC mechanisms
• Writes clean and testable code
• Past experience working with distributed systems
• Able to utilize AI-assisted code development tools for code generation, analysis and reviews
• Has developed code for macOS and/or Linux

Bonus skills and experience

• Knowledge and experience of development tools within the SDLC - Jira, Github, Jenkins etc
• Reactive programming experience
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Contributions to open-source software

Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence at our Pune office three days per week.
