Job summary

Qualys is looking for talented engineers to innovate and develop the next generation of its SaaS-based cloud security platform. You will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on prototyping and developing scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Java programming and will be proficient in technologies like Spring Boot and micro-services. Candidates with experience in databases, indexing technology, and cloud platforms like Kubernetes are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience developing applications using Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of relational databases and NoSQL DB, preferably Cassandra or Elasticsearch.
• Professional experience working on indexing technology like Elastic Search and caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.

Requisite Qualifications

• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent programming and designing skills in Java with minimum 4+ years of professional experience developing applications using Spring Boot / micro-services.
• Good understanding of relational databases and/or NoSQL DB, preferably Cassandra, Elasticsearch.
• Professional experience working on indexing technology like Elastic Search and caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, application design.
• Professional experience developing software using micro services oriented architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science.
• Professional experience with Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with stream processing technologies like Apache Flink.
