Role & responsibilities
Application Architecture & Development
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise web applications usingASP.NETFramework (4.8),ASP.NETCore (8/10), MVC (C#), and Web API.
- Define technical architecture, application design standards, and development frameworks.
- Drive modernization initiatives and cloud adoption strategies.
- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with organizational standards.
Database Design & Performance Engineering
- Drive database architecture and schema design activities.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
- Lead performance tuning initiatives for both applications and databases.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and system reliability.
Azure & DevOps Leadership
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Establish and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Drive DevOps best practices, release automation, and deployment governance.
- Support cloud migration and application modernization programs.
Front-End Engineering
- Oversee the development of responsive and user-centric web applications using:
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Establish UI development standards and best practices.
- Ensure consistent user experience across platforms and browsers.
Background Services & Automation
- Design and manage background services, Windows services, scheduled jobs, and batch processing solutions.
- Implement automation frameworks for recurring business operations.
- Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical background processes.
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across projects.
- Promote coding standards, reusable design patterns, and engineering excellence.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Agile & Process Improvement
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical planning sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development processes, deployment practices, and technical governance.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and technology optimization.
