Senior Software Engineer – Engineering

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and own significant components of our SaaS platform. You will take features from ambiguous requirements through design, implementation, testing, and production operation. You will make sound technical decisions within your area, contribute to architecture discussions, and mentor engineers around you. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, solid experience with distributed systems and cloud-native development, and a track record of delivering reliable, high-quality software. The ideal candidate is a self-driven builder who takes ownership, cares deeply about quality, and enjoys solving hard technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own end-to-end features and services across the platform.
• Build scalable APIs, backend services, and cloud-native applications.
• Build and operate event-driven workflows using Kafka-compatible messaging, background workers, and reliable async processing patterns.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Contribute to frontend and full-stack development as needed.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and security within your area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including on-call participation.

• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-structured technical designs.
• Participate in and contribute to design reviews and architecture discussions.
