Wabtec Corporation, a global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and services for rail and related markets, is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer to join the TCOS (Train Control Office Suite) team in the Digital Intelligence group.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customer features, components, and feature sets using best practices and coding standards.
• Translate complex technical requirements into elegant, robust software solutions.
• Build strong design capabilities and collaborate with architects, product management, QA, and DevOps to roadmap software products.
• Guide technical strategy, mentor junior engineers, and elevate the team's overall technical capabilities.
• Consider system-wide performance, scalability, and long‑term maintainability in all solutions.
• Participate in Agile delivery, sprint planning, tracking, and execution.
• Use TDD, CI/CD, and code quality tools to ensure high quality and maintainable code.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and best practices.

Education

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or equivalent.

Experience

• 7-10 years in object‑oriented design and development with solid understanding of SOLID, DRY, and design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and coding best practices.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio, including IntelliSense, CodeLens, and integrated debugging tools.
• Experience with deployment practices and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing, test automation concepts and tools.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful services and APIs with scalability, performance, and security.
• Cloud computing exposure to Azure/AWS (added advantage).

Technical Skills

• .NET Core, C#, VB.NET.
