Job summary

ResourceQ Services is looking for an experienced Software Developer in Hyderabad to enhance our ConsoleFlow cloud products for IoT connectivity. You will be responsible for developing scalable applications and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing solutions.

Job Description

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Solid expertise in developing highly available and scalable server/cloud-based applications and designing database schemas.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Strong experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Strong experience with any NoSQL database such as Redis or MongoDB.
• Expertise in working with open source and/or commercial continuous integration and delivery tools.
• Expertise in at least one or more cloud/virtual technologies and management platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, OpenShift, Google App Engine, etc.
• Familiarity with source‑code control systems such as CVS, Subversion, GitHub and Jira bug‑tracking systems.
• Good to have knowledge of Go and Java.
• Good to have knowledge of at least one or more modern web‑application frameworks such as Apache, Nginx, or Varnish.

Qualifications

• Develop and enhance software for our industry‑leading ConsoleFlow cloud products that drive IoT connectivity and intelligent device services, enabling customers’ data collection at edge, processing, ingestion, storage, analysis and search. Building exciting user experiences that directly impact customers.
• Implement robust, high‑performing IoT products and solutions and participate constructively in requirements analysis and design discussions.
• Collaborate closely with product management, architects, developers, and QA; have a strong desire to work with a company building products that solve real‑world problems.
• Manage the entire product life cycle, including enhancements, updates, and reconfigurations for assigned products.
• Produce high‑quality code that conforms to design and functional requirements. Develop validation plans and execute them to ensure the code is fully unit‑tested before submission to QA testing.
• Provide support to other engineers, Field Application Engineers, and Technical Support staff in areas of expertise and domain knowledge.
• Improve and maintain new and existing functionality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Diagnose, locate, and resolve technical issues in large systems.
• Work independently while also functioning effectively in a team environment and meeting project deadlines.
• Perform thorough and thoughtful code reviews for other engineers on your team.
• Internalize a set of good engineering habits (development techniques, TDD, security, tech debt balance, agile habits) that drive high‑end engineering excellence.
• Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills.
