Job summary

Eicore, Gurugram-based Insurtech, seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain TypeScript microservices. You’ll work in a Bun-based monorepo, touching backend services, schemas, and frontend components while collaborating with senior engineers in the Gurgaon office.

You will implement API endpoints per OpenAPI specs, write Prisma queries for PostgreSQL, and contribute to testing with Vitest and Playwright in a security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend microservices and frontend features within our Bun workspace monorepo.
• Implement and validate API endpoints using OpenAPI specifications and Zod schemas.
• Write database queries and migrations using Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL.
• Develop React components using Vite, TailwindCSS, and Shadcn/UI for policy, claims, and customer portals.
• Containerize services with Docker and run local environments via Docker Compose.
• Integrate LLM-powered features using Claude and OpenAI APIs.
• Write unit, integration, and E2E tests using Vitest and Playwright.
• Maintain code quality with Biome formatting and linting.
• Follow secure coding practices for sensitive policyholder data.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

We're a product based Insurtech company, building Eicore, a modern microservices platform that powers our policy, claims, and customer-facing systems. We're looking for a Software Engineer to build and maintain features across our TypeScript microservices platform. You'll work within a Bun-based monorepo, contributing to backend services, shared schemas, and frontend components while collaborating closely with senior engineers in our Gurgaon office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend microservices and frontend features within our Bun workspace monorepo
• Implement and validate API endpoints using OpenAPI specifications and Zod schemas
• Write database queries and migrations using Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL
• Develop React components using Vite, TailwindCSS, and Shadcn/UI for policy, claims, and customer portals
• Containerize services with Docker and run local environments via Docker Compose
• Integrate LLM-powered features (document processing, claims assistance, customer support) using the Claude and OpenAI APIs
• Write unit, integration, and E2E tests using Vitest and Playwright
• Maintain code quality standards with Biome formatting and linting
• Follow secure coding practices appropriate for handling sensitive policyholder data
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

Requirements

• 4-9 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with React and component-based frontend development
• Familiarity with relational databases and ORMs (Prisma or similar)
• Understanding of REST/API design and schema validation
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
