Job summary

Stryker is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement complex systems in India. You will work on cloud and web technologies, leveraging C#, ASP.NET, React.js and Angular/TypeScript to deliver secure, scalable applications.

You will participate in technical discussions, collaborate with global teams, and apply Agile practices to produce robust software. Prior experience with healthcare interoperability standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of design and development of complex software systems.
• Exposure to Azure cloud development with at least 2 years of experience developing cloud-based applications.
• Experience with backend: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, .NET Core, Web/Rest API, Windows Services.
• Strong experience in developing responsive and scalable web apps using React.js, angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; experience with Redux, REST APIs, responsive design, accessibility standards.

What you will do

• You will implement complex systems based on defined application software architecture.
• You will participate in technical discussion and collaborate with team to produce component and sub-system level designs.
• You will specialize in cloud/ web technology domains.
• You will apply the defined design practices including Agile methodology and use sound software engineering principles to ensure that the application software products are safe, robust, and user-friendly.
• Design, implementation, and testing of secure windows/cloud / web applications.
• Collaborate with global and local development teams.
• Maintain and Support existing applications.

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science or a related field
• 4+ years of design and development of complex software systems.
• Exposure to Azure cloud Development with at least 2 year of experience developing cloud-based applications
• Backend: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, .NET Core, Web/Rest API, Windows Services
• Strong experience in developing responsive and scalable web applications using React.js, angular/typeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with Redux, REST APIs, responsive design, accessibility standards.
• Experienced in design, development, and integration of REST / SOAP / Web APIs on .NET stack
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure DevOps is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Others: Entity Framework, GIT, Unit tests, PowerShell
• Knowledge of one or more third-party tools like SonarCube, NUnit, NCover, and FxCop is a plus
• Strong core computer science skills such as data structure design, architecture design, and algorithms
• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented software architecture
• Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM is a plus.
• Understanding of medical device software development processes and regulated environments is preferred.
