Job summary

Qualifications

Senior Software Engineer:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prototype, design, develop, unit test, and maintain Windows-based software applications using C# (.NET) and C++


• Participate in cross-functional project teams to develop medical device software solutions


• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on new product introduction projects while adhering to software development and source control processes


• Document software designs and create technical specifications for interfaces, integrations, and testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5 to 8 years of experience


• Strong experience in designing and developing applications using C# (.NET technologies) and C++


• Experience with Windows application development:


• C#: WPF, WinForms, or similar frameworks


• C++: MFC / Win32


• Solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD) principles and design patterns


• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, NUnit, MSTest, xUnit)


• Experience working in Agile development environments


• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time


• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in teams


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and continuously evolving environment


• Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in medical device software development


• Exposure to IVD instrumentation (clinical chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, flow cytometry, etc.)


• Understanding of regulated software development environments (ISO standards, FDA guidelines)


• Familiarity with software configuration management and build tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)


• Experience working across both native (C++) and managed (.NET/C#) environments


• Exposure to modern architectures such as REST APIs, microservices, or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
