Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, to join our Bengaluru, India team. You will help shape technical direction and build products impacting hospitals, homes, stadiums, and schools worldwide.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and UX to deliver robust, scalable solutions across Rails backend and React frontend. You’ll work across the stack, optimize PostgreSQL, and contribute to a modular system with well-defined boundaries.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development with Rails backend and React/Angular frontend.
• Strong OO, TDD, SOA and design principles.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and Agile/Scrum.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to join Procore’s onboarding organization. In this role, you’ll help drive the technical direction of our projects and revolutionize a historically underserved industry. Your primary goal will be to develop products that impact how communities’ hospitals, homes, sports stadiums, and schools across the world are built.

As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, you’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problems. Use your full-stack development experience, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate complex solutions to enhance your technical projects. This position reports to the Manager, Software Engineering and will be based in our Bengaluru, India office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Evolve our existing codebase from a monolithic Rails application into a modular system with clear, well-enforced domain boundaries and a coherent public interface.
• Contribute to designing and building a system that aligns with our technical vision.
• Work up and down the stack to ship code for our Rails backend and our React frontend, and dive deep into the PostgreSQL database layer to handle complex querying needs.
• Enhance performance, flexibility, scalability, and security within our Rails backend.
• Work with TypeScript and React to create consistent and intuitive user experiences on the frontend.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problems.
• Communicate complex problems and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders through conversations and design documents..
• Collaborate across engineering teams on large-scale initiatives to further our goal of connecting everyone in construction on one global platform.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails on the backend, and React or Angular on the frontend.
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, Test Driven Development, Service-Oriented Architecture, and Design principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of web development processes, including development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring.
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience maintaining and developing APIs through REST or GraphQL.
• Strong experience documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions.
• Track record of anticipating technical problems that will fall out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those problems.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
