Job summary

Get Well invites an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native and on-premise applications that support secure patient data and high performance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement AI-powered features, integrate HL7/FHIR standards, and build robust microservices with Docker/Kubernetes, while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building large-scale cloud-native distributed systems on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud/OCI.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience with HIPAA-compliant healthcare data handling is a plus.

Senior Software Engineer – Get Well

Get Well is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team and build next‑generation, cloud‑native and on‑premise environment healthcare applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions that enable healthcare organizations to deliver better patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, cloud technologies, AI‑driven development, and healthcare interoperability standards. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build innovative products that meet healthcare compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud‑native and on‑premise environments, using modern software engineering practices.
• Build and enhance distributed microservices‑based systems with high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop RESTful APIs and enterprise‑grade backend services.
• Build responsive and modern user interfaces using contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Design and implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with messaging systems and distributed event‑driven architectures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience building large‑scale cloud‑native distributed systems using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OCI.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of microservices, API design, Kubernetes, Docker, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience building or integrating AI‑powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, secure coding, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or CDA.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare security, and data privacy regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with Hibernate, JPA, and enterprise Java application development.
