Job summary

Oblivious in Bengaluru is seeking a software engineer with a strong background in systems programming to develop services and infrastructure tooling for highly secure cloud environments.

You will design, build, and release open-source libraries, focusing on high availability, scalability, and robustness, collaborating across teams to meet business objectives and compliance, and support testing, deployment, and technical documentation for engineering and customers.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
• Developing services and infrastructure tooling for highly secure environmentsdeployed in the cloud.
• Designing, building, and releasing open-source libraries.

• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectivesand compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science (or related field)
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Coding experience with one or more general programming languages(e.g., C, C++, Python, Rust, or Go).

Preferred Qualifications

• Development experience with Unix/Linux.
• Experience working in the networking domain (client-server communication,networking protocols).
• Experience using Git.
• Experience building CI pipelines using github actions and jenkins is plus.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure - AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in working with Docker environments.
• Experience developing open-source software.
• Experience building cross-platform SDKs.
• Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Ability to pick up new libraries and frameworks quickly.
• Knowledge of privacy-related technologies.
