Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Front End Development)

Reporting to: Principal Product Manager

1) Purpose of the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer who brings strong expertise in Python, Azure Cloud, and SQL Server, complemented by proficiency in Angular 17+ and modern front-end technologies. You will be instrumental in delivering high-performance, scalable solutions while mentoring teams and fostering innovation.

2) Key tasks & accountabilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable backend applications using Python and associated frameworks.
• Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure Cloud services for hosting, scaling, and automation.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases, including SQL Server, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Architect responsive, modern front-end solutions with Angular v17+, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Create intuitive user interfaces using Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular Material.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate backend services for seamless functionality.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment for on-time delivery.
• Mentor and guide team members in best practices and innovative technology choices.
• Develop customized themes and extensions, including Visual Studio Code extensions, to meet specific project needs.
• Continuously evaluate and adapt to emerging technologies to drive process and product innovation.

Technical Skills required

• Proficiency in Python and associated backend frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud, including services for hosting, automation, and scaling.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, PL/SQL, and database performance optimization.
• Advanced skills in front-end frameworks like Angular v17+, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of UI/UX design principles using HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing and implementing innovative solutions.
