Job summary

Nityo Infotech Limited is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to drive development of Java/Spring REST microservices in AWS cloud on Bengaluru campus.

You will implement cloud-native Java apps, lead design reviews, and push CI/CD pipelines while ensuring quality, security and scalable architectures. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BE/BS or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Java/Spring/REST/Microservice.
• Experience building AWS cloud native Java apps.
• Microservices with Docker containers.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications in Java/Spring-based frameworks and AWS cloud.
• Address development problems, design, code reviews, and standards.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform test automation and ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with teams and act as SPOC for the application.

Job description

Sr Software Engineer -

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The person will be responsible for development of applications in Java, Spring based frameworks, AWS cloud
• Will be responsible for addressing development problems, Java/AWS design, code standards, code reviews etc
• Leverage best practices to design, implement, test and support cloud based solution
• Analyze framework consumer requirements, create technical specifications to design or redesign framework components.
• Acts as a a SPOC for the responsible application
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported areas
• Perform test automation in a test driven development environment
• Implements DevOps concepts tools & continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Maven etc
• Implement instrumentation to gather business specific metrics around consumer usage patterns

Profile

• BE/BS or equivalent
• Experience developing AWS cloud native java applications
• Experience developing in a microservice architecture using docker containers
• 5+ Years of design, programming experience with Java/Spring/REST/Microservice
• Additional experience in Python, Node JS is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud EC2, ECS, ELB, Lambda, SQS, SNA, IAM, CloudFormation, DynamoDB and other AWS services
• Experience doing IAC (Infrastructure as Code) using AWS CDK or Terraform will be an advantage
• Experience on DevOps and tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Jira etc
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
