Job summary

Unacademy is seeking a Software Engineer with strong backend expertise in Python or Java to build scalable backend systems and AI-powered features. You will design microservices, distributed architectures, and APIs, and work with cloud infrastructure and databases to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years of backend development experience, hands-on AI/LLM work, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend development experience with Python or Java.
• Strong experience in microservices, distributed systems, APIs and system design.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, LLM APIs, embeddings or prompt engineering.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and relational/NoSQL databases.
