Job summary

smartShift, a global SAP transformation leader, seeks an ABAP Developer with 3-4 years of IT experience in Bengaluru. You will develop and support ABAP custom programs, including OOABAP, for upgrade projects involving Unicode, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA.

You will participate in code reviews, QA, and provide feedback to R&D. Strong communication and ability to work independently in a dynamic, client-facing environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of total IT industry experience.
• Strong ABAP skill set including experience in OOABAP.
• Experience in developing OOABAP Programs, Function Groups, Classes, and Data Dictionary.
• Experience in writing code with the latest SAP ABAP syntax and SAP Best practices.
• Experience in using Code Inspector / Extended Program Check / ATC.
• Experience in custom code management in upgrades / EHP including SPAU/SPDD.
• Thorough knowledge of transports, Testing, development and project environments, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence client stakeholders.
• Nice to have a team of at least 3-4 members.

About role

Skills and Experience

Mandatory skills

3 to 4 years of total IT industry experience.
