Job summary

ParentPay Group in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Senior QA Lead to shape quality across our web-based education payments platform. You will lead QA activities, mentor testers, and design robust testing strategies for functional, API, and ETL tests, ensuring delivery meets high standards.

The role requires hands-on automation and a passion for process improvement, with proficiency in tools like Python, Selenium, Gatling and JMeter.

Qualifications

• Proven 8+ years of work experience in software quality assurance, especially web applications.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Manage and coordinate all testing activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards.
• Develop and implement innovative testing strategies, including automation frameworks, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality goals and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Advocate for best practices in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in functional, API and ETL testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Python, Selenium, Testcafe, Supertest, Gatling, Browserstack, JMeter, etc).
• Strong knowledge of common web application technologies (Azure, AWS etc.).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of Non-functional testing: Performance, Usability, UAT.
• Ability to create and execute End to end test scenarios.
• Strong communication skills to report and document test results.
