Job summary

ParentPay Group - India in Pune, India, seeks an experienced .NET developer to join our Payments software team. You will design, build, and maintain highly available services and mentor teammates. The role requires strong C#, SQL, Angular, and CI/CD experience within an agile environment.

You will work with architects and product leads to deliver high-value features, acquiring domain knowledge and ensuring robust test coverage throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience with web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Including Angular web apps, REST APIs, services and SQL databases.
• SDLC activities: requirements, design, development and QA, CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile development environment using Scrum.
• Proven ability to deliver high quality software.
• Experience with high-throughput, high-availability systems with a large user base.
• Desirable: product-led development, product discovery, EdTech experience.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Development - Strong .Net development, C#, SQL, Web Development, Angular, Understanding Requirements, Performance Optimisation, Design Patterns, .Net, SDLC, Software Testing, CI/CD, Coaching, Documentation

Communication - Effective communicator at all levels from team members to stakeholders and senior management. Able to give clear and concise instruction and ensure everyone is kept well-informed

System Testing - Ensure code coverage from unit testing to automated E2E QA test

Troubleshooting - Ability to quickly understand problems and how to resolve them

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience building web applications and systems using the Microsoft .Net platform
• Including Angular web apps, Rest API, Services and SQL databases
• SDLC - Requirements Gathering, Software Design, Development and QA Testing, CI/CD pipelines
• Agile development environment using Scrum
• Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality software
• Experience of a high-throughput, high-availability, software systems with a large user base
• Ideally
