Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to Python backend development, microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-based AWS solutions.

You will work in an Agile cross-functional team, ensure code quality with Pytest, and participate in CI/CD, security checks, and production support. Strong communication skills and AWS familiarity are required; frontend exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with Python backend development.
• Hands-on experience building microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-based applications.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks like Pytest.
• Understanding of Agile development practices and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Exposure to secure SDLC practices and automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• BE/B.Tech (CSE) / M.E/M.Tech (CSE) / MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology.
