Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or data warehousing with Snowflake focus.
• Strong SQL, Snowflake architecture, and ETL tooling.
• Proficient in Python or scripting for automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Tech Lead who will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Snowflake data warehousing solutions. This role requires driving technical excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient data solutions while ensuring adherence to organizational and industry standards. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship to team members, foster innovation, and work closely with stakeholders to align data strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
• Develop scalable, secure, and efficient data models and pipelines to support business needs.
• Manage and optimize Snowflake features, including virtual warehouses, data sharing, and cloning, to maximize performance and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments and streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Integrate Snowflake with third-party monitoring, logging, and analytics tools to enhance observability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices for data security, governance, and performance optimization.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing, with a strong focus on Snowflake solutions.
• Deep expertise in SQL, Snowflake architecture, and ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GCP, along with CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
