Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Snowflake's cloud platform. The role emphasizes modern data engineering practices, cloud technologies, and AI/ML integration within Snowflake.

You will design robust pipelines, optimize queries, and deploy Snowflake environments on AWS/Azure while collaborating with data scientists to productionize ML models and enable advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering including 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Snow SQL, Snow PLSQL and Snowpark for query development, stored procedures and Python-based data applications.
• Advanced skills in Python programming with a focus on data engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Background in Snowflake Cortex AI for native AI and ML capabilities.
