PwC India is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer specialized in Snowflake to join our Advisory data engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake, SQL, Python and AWS services.

You will collaborate with analysts, scientists and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights while ensuring governance, quality and cost efficiency across data workloads.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL and data modelling.
Experience with AWS data services and Python scripting.
Familiarity with DBT, Airflow and CI/CD workflows.
Snowflake SnowPro Core certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and data models in Snowflake.
Implement and maintain DBT workflows for data transformation and modeling.
Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Integrate data from various sources using Python.
Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across the pipeline.
Work with CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing of data workflows.
Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake workloads.
