Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Chennai seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer I to design, automate, and enhance Azure‑based cloud infrastructure with a focus on AKS and security. You will partner with software engineering and security teams to improve deployments, observability, and reliability across environments.

The role emphasizes containerization with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code using Terraform and Argo; experience with Helm, Argo CD, Azure

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on experience managing AKS clusters in production with Azure services, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration and Terraform (IAC).
• Exposure to Helm, Argo CD, AWS, monitoring platforms, Azure Databricks, and ADF is a plus.
• Strong networking, security, and monitoring knowledge in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional teams.
• Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104) and Terraform/CKA are advantageous.
• Experience in high‑availability and disaster recovery planning; familiar with Agile/Scrum.

About the Role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer I, you will contribute to the design, automation, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You will collaborate across teams to improve deployments, observability, system availability, security, and operational processes across our environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

• Manage and maintain AKS clusters, including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Helm, and Argo.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions integrated with Azure services.

• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to AKS.

• Collaborate with Information Security teams to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure.

• Optimize networking configurations and troubleshoot connectivity issues across cloud environments.

• Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes and system architecture.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

• Proven experience managing AKS clusters in production environments with hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, GitHub workflows or CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation.

• Must have experience in Orchestration tools like Kubernetes and IAC platform (Terraform).

• Good to have exposure in Helm, Argo CD, AWS, Monitoring Platform, Azure Databricks, ADF etc.,

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud-native environments.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104), Terraform, CKA. Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments

• Experience in high‑availability and disaster recovery planning and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
