Job summary

Valeo in Chennai, India is hiring a Management Controller to lead monthly closing, variance explanations, and weekly financial reporting. The role focuses on KPI consolidation, internal control, and adherence to group tools and policies across sites.

The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with opportunities to contribute to budget processes, standardize controls, and drive process improvements in a global automotive tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis of monthly results to management and explain variances vs. budget, covering P&L and activity lines.
• Consolidate financial performance through weekly reporting and KPI tracking (Overdues Ext. and Int, Internal Control).
• Contribute to budget and MTP processes with guidelines and recharge templates; benchmark and standardize management control tools.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and propose solutions for inter-site/product line/ring-fence coordination (transfer price, R&D recharges).
• Lead on-site management control reviews and pre-validate IAR and CAA workflows as required.
• Ensure deployment of standard tools from Group/Division/PG/PL within RO and support Ethics & Compliance adherence.
