TVS Next is seeking a Senior SFCC Developer to join the Enterprise eCommerce team, focusing on architecture, development, and optimization of Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The role emphasizes headless commerce, third-party integrations, and scalable backend solutions.

You will lead backend development for order lifecycle, promotions, catalog, and checkout while collaborating with frontend teams to ensure seamless storefront integrations and robust performance.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of hands-on SFCC development experience.
• Strong SFCC architecture, Business Manager, and order lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with headless commerce implementations and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable SFCC solutions with headless architecture.
• Implement and support headless commerce using APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI).
• Develop and maintain integrations with OMS, ERP, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
• Build and optimize REST-based services and middleware integrations.
• Lead backend development for order lifecycle, promotions, catalog, pricing, and checkout flows.
• Implement cartridges, controllers, hooks, and job frameworks; ensure security and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to enable seamless headless storefronts.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and conduct root cause analysis for production issues.

The Role

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in headless commerce implementations, third-party integrations, and scalable backend solutions.

The Senior SFCC Developer will be part of the Enterprise eCommerce team, focusing on architecture, development, and optimization of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in headless commerce implementations, third-party integrations, and scalable backend solutions.

Your Contribution

Success in this role requires strong technical ownership, architectural thinking, and hands-on delivery experience. In this role, you will:

• Design and develop scalable solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Headless architecture)
• Implement and support headless commerce solutions using APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI)
• Develop and maintain integrations with OMS, ERP, payment gateways, and other third-party systems
• Build and enhance REST-based services and middleware integrations
• Lead backend development for order lifecycle, promotions, catalog, pricing, and checkout flows
• Implement custom cartridges, controllers, hooks, and job frameworks
• Optimize performance across storefront and API layers
• Collaborate with frontend developers to enable seamless headless storefront integrations
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in security, performance, and maintainability
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Work closely with Product Owners, QA, Architects, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end delivery

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and experience:

• 5-6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development
• Strong understanding of SFCC architecture, Business Manager, and order lifecycle management
• Proven experience in headless commerce implementations
• Hands-on experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, and custom API development
• Strong experience integrating third-party systems (OMS, ERP, payment gateways, fraud tools, tax engines, shipping providers)
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), ISML, controllers, and cartridge architecture
• Experience working with REST APIs and middleware integrations
• Strong understanding of checkout customization and promotions engine
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployment models and API-first architecture
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of modules

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
