Job summary

Acuity Analytics is hiring a security professional to lead incidents response and monitoring across SOC, EDR and network security domains. You will coordinate with IT operations, engineering and client teams to detect, analyze and contain threats while improving overall security posture.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, vulnerability management and threat hunting using SIEM/XDR/SOAR tools. Certifications and cloud security knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SOC, EDR and network security.
• Good to have experience in Email, Data & Cloud Security Posture.
• Certifications: AWS, Azure Cloud Security+, CEH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security incidents to determine root cause, impact and extent of compromise.
• Develop and execute incident response plans to contain, mitigate, and recover from breaches.
• Collaborate with IT operations, network engineering and development teams during incident response.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans; prioritize risks and apply controls.
• Perform threat intelligence and threat hunting using various tools; report findings.

Basic information

Requirement: +5 years of experience in SOC, EDR and Network Security. Good to have - Experience in Email, Data & Cloud Security Posture.

Certification: AWS, Azure Cloud Security+, CEH, any other security certification.

1. Incidents Response and Planning:
   1. a. Monitoring and Analysis of SIEM/XDR/SOAR.
   2. b. Perform detailed analysis of security incidents to determine the root cause, impact, and extent of the compromise.
   3. c. Integration with SAAS Applications, internal apps, and other devices.
   4. d. Develop and execute incident response plans and procedures to contain, mitigate, and recover from security breaches and incidents.
   5. e. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, network engineering, and application development teams during incident response efforts.
   6. f. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans, prioritize risks based on impact and likelihood, and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
   7. g. Threat Intelligence & threat hunting using various tools.
2. Experience in Email Security required, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, Phishing, Scam, etc.
3. Experience in phishing techniques and simulation and awareness training.
4. Working knowledge about Endpoint Protection and Data Security tools, like EDR, DLP, etc.
5. Automation, Workflows, scripting Reporting
6. Prepare and present security reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders, providing visibility into best practices, incidents, and improvements, gaps on overall security posture.
