Job summary

Acuity Analytics, a global tech-focused security firm, seeks a seasoned security operations professional with 5+ years in SOC, EDR and network security to drive incident response and cloud security initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have Email Security experience, phishing awareness, and automation experience for security reporting and workflows. AWS/Azure CEH certifications are a plus as the team protects financial and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SOC, EDR and Network Security.
• Certifications such as AWS, Azure Cloud Security+, CEH or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience in Email Security, Data & Cloud Security Posture.

Responsibilities

• Incidents Response and Planning: Monitoring and analysis of SIEM/XDR/SOAR.
• Perform root-cause analysis of security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT operations, network engineering and app development during incident response.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans and implement mitigations.
• Threat intelligence and threat hunting using various tools.
• Prepare security reports, metrics and dashboards for stakeholders.

Requirement

+5 years of experience in SOC, EDR and Network Security. Good to have - Experience in Email, Data & Cloud Security Posture.

Certification

AWS, Azure Cloud Security+, CEH, any other security certification.

Responsibilities

1. Incidents Response and Planning:
   • Monitoring and Analysis of SIEM/XDR/SOAR.
   • Perform detailed analysis of security incidents to determine the root cause, impact, and extent of the compromise.
   • Integration with SAAS Applications, internal apps, and other devices.
   • Develop and execute incident response plans and procedures to contain, mitigate, and recover from security breaches and incidents.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, network engineering, and application development teams during incident response efforts.
   • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans, prioritize risks based on impact and likelihood, and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
   • Threat Intelligence & threat hunting using various tools.
2. Experience in Email Security required, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, Phishing, Scam, etc.
3. Experience in phishing techniques and simulation and awareness training.
4. Working knowledge about Endpoint Protection and Data Security tools, like EDR, DLP, etc.
5. Automation, Workflows, scripting Reporting
6. Prepare and present security reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders, providing visibility into best practices, incidents, and improvements, gaps on overall security posture.
