Job summary

Trinet Group is seeking a Lead Security Data Analyst to support the Security organization with data identification, collection, analysis, and reporting of key risk and performance indicators. You will use statistical tools to interpret data, prepare reports, and communicate trends to management.

The role involves developing and enhancing recurring program reporting, onboarding or descoping metrics, and delivering dashboards to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in a data analytics and reporting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Python; Tableau and ServiceNow preferred; Tableau Data Analyst, Security+ or CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, monitoring, and management of KRIs and KPIs for the Security Program.
• Structure large data sets for analysis using Tableau, SQL, Excel or other tools to identify patterns and insights.
• Verify data integrity and follow up on action plans for KRI/KPI metrics.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify meaningful measures and plan on metrics onboarding or descoping.
• Lead the delivery of analytics and reporting requirements, including recurring and ad hoc dashboards for senior management.
• Support source system integration to increase automation for KPI reporting.
• Collaborate using analytic toolsets to provide data-driven solutions and insights to senior management.

Job Summary

The Lead Security Data Analyst is responsible for assisting the Security organization with data identification, collection, analysis, and reporting of key risk and performance indicators. This individual plays a key role in providing insight for management to make informed data-driven risk decisions. The Lead Security Data Analyst will provide key information to management by using statistical tools to interpret data sets, and preparing reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings. The Lead Security Data Analyst will also assist in the development and enhancement of new and recurring program reporting requirements and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, monitoring, and management of outcome driven key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Security Program
• Structure large data sets for analysis using Tableau, SQL, Excel or other reporting tools to find patterns and actionable insights, including analyzing and interpreting data to identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvements
• Verify integrity and completeness of data used for analysis; including, follow-up on action plans and issues for KRI/KPI metrics as needed
• Partner with key stakeholders to continue to identify meaningful measures and develop plans for onboarding, enhancing, or descoping metrics
• Lead the development and delivery of Security program data analytics and reporting requirements; including the development and delivery of recurring and ad hoc customized metric dashboards and reports to senior management
• Support source system integration initiatives to increase automation for ongoing KRI/KPI metrics reporting
• Work with various analytic toolsets to provide data-driven solutions and high-level insights to senior management

Education Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or other related business discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.

License/Certification Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in Tableau and ServiceNow preferred
• Tableau Data Analyst, Security+, or CISSP preferred

Experience Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in a data analytics and reporting role
