Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead planning, scheduling and project controls for complex construction programs. You will drive baseline development, risk analysis, and cost timelines while coordinating with international teams and clients.

The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, PMP/PMI-RMP/PMI-SP certifications, and strong analytical/IT skills. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction project experience are essential.

Qualifications

• PM certifications (PMP/PMI-SP/PMI-RMP) preferred.
• Construction industry certification is advantageous.

The Opportunity

Role and Responsibilities

• A highly motivated and experienced Scheduler/ Project control specialist expert in Primavera P6, extensive experience in Planning, Scheduling and Project control of complex construction projects. Understands Project control and risk assessment methodologies used within the construction industry, cost and schedule risk analysis, and unique challenges.

In this role you will

• Gain hands-on experience working in exciting, innovative sectors with some of the world’s most prestigious companies
• Develop comprehensive QRA reports for complex construction projects.
• Develop schedule models for QRA.
• Opportunity to work on the latest scheduling and risk management software.
• Actively participate in the controlling, monitoring, and analysis of performance and risk on complex projects
• Oversee project risk, analyze the risk impact on Project cost & timeline for early mitigation plan.
• Develop Project control plan, WBS and Schedule for new projects when required.
• Project schedule, cost and risk monitoring and control.
• Help oversee project status by setting baseline targets; tracking progress and performance creating and using insight to recommend early preventative and remedial actions.
• Understands risk assessment methodologies used within the construction industry, cost and schedule risk analysis
• Maintain and monitor project delivery risks and opportunities.
• Track risk mitigation actions to ensure these are completed in line with the proposed timescales.
• Develop risk management reports from inputs from the risk specialists.
• Supporting the knowledge sharing of risks and opportunities across the portfolio of projects ensuring that lessons are learnt.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to Scheduling and risk management in the construction sectors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative thinking and fast to adapt new developments in the market.
• Handle multiple projects and stakeholders from various time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Project control, Scheduling or Project risk management of complex construction projects
• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Construction industry certification.
• Professional certifications in Project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, IRM-Cert, etc)
• Knowledge in Primavera OPC, Safran, @Risk, Power BI an added advantage
• Complex construction projects, Pharma, DC or Process plant experience.
