We are seeking an experienced Linux SAS Developer with exposure to Mainframe systems to join our Workplace Solutions (WS) Defined Contribution (DC) Data Conversion team. In this role, you will be a key member of an integrated implementation team responsible for transitioning, auditing, validating, and loading critical conversion data for DC plan implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data conversion activities: analysis, design, SAS coding, unit testing, and execution using strict coding standards.
- Perform precise data auditing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure seamless plan implementations.
- Collaborate closely with onshore counterparts, cross-functional partners, and agile scrum teams.
- Manage complex technical deliverables independently within an Agile methodology framework.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive quality adherence and contribute to process improvements across data conversion workflows.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Core SAS Expertise: Hands‑on experience with SAS on Linux environments (and/or Mainframe SAS).
- Mainframe Exposure: Practical working knowledge of Mainframe technologies, including DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Experience: 6–10 years in IT development, with a track record of handling complex data migration or conversion systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in Financial Services or the Retirement/Defined Contribution domain is strongly preferred.
- Methodology & Tools: Proficiency working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and system analysis capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for onshore and business partner interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently while acting as an innovative, collaborative team player.
- Fast learner with high adaptability to evolving technologies and technical processes.
