Job summary

Arthrex India is seeking an experienced SAP Security and GRC Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation across SAP landscapes. You will ensure policy compliance, manage role maintenance, and drive IAM migrations with security-by-design principles.

You'll collaborate with SAP project teams on S/4HANA transitions, implement GRC controls, and oversee access provisioning, audits, and threat mitigation, enabling secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration experience
• Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts
• Experience leading security workshops and user provisioning
• S/4HANA and SAP GRC experience
• Knowledge of IAM platforms (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and govern SAP Security and GRC solutions across SAP ECC, HCM, Fiori, GTS, and connected apps.
• Provide security expertise for S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance GRC Access Control and Process Control; improve GRC framework including risks and controls.
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand requirements across complex landscapes.
• Review custom developments for security requirements and vulnerabilities; propose authorization checks.
• Contribute to automation of access provisioning and governance tools.
• Design, build, and maintain security roles across landscapes; ensure testing, approvals, and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvements to processes and ensure timely delivery of project work packages.

Role Description

Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and governance of SAP Security and GRC solutions across complex SAP landscapes. Ensure compliance with corporate policy and SAP standard methodology regarding security settings. Must have an overall general understanding of SAP Security and SAP GRC, an ability to tactically and effectively handle projects and policy updates associated with SAP access and controls. The position will additionally focus on role maintenance, redesign, policy compliance, and user assignment enabling migration of applications, systems, platforms, and services to use Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. Collaborate with SAP project teams to embed security-by-design principles into the S/4HANA transition.

Skill Requirements

Primary Skills (Must Have Skills)

• Design, implement, and govern SAP Security and GRC solutions across SAP ECC, HCM, Fiori, GTS, and other connected applications
• Provide security expertise and participate in Security efforts for S/4HANA transformation
• Implement, maintain, and enhance GRC Access Control, Process Control implementation, and continuous improvement of the GRC framework: risks, controls, and assessment
• Collaborate with other IT teams to understand requirements, trends and strategies to support business projects regardless of complexity and scope
• Review of custom developments for security requirements and vulnerabilities and
• propose expected authorization checks and solutions
• Participate and contribute to automation efforts to enhance and improve access provisioning and governance tools
• Design, build and maintain security roles across all landscapes to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place and achieve targeted Service Level Agreements, audit compliance, and defined performance metrics
• Ensure that changes to roles and systems are tested, approved and completed according to company standards, including regulatory and compliance requirements
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities to drive process efficiencies
• Deliver project work packages and ensure task deadlines are met

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration experience
• Strong understanding of the SAP authorization concepts
• Experience with leading security workshops, user provisioning, role creation, redesign and maintenance
• S/4HANA experience and SAP GRC experience(necessary)
• Working knowledge of at least one IAM platform (preferred)
• SAP BTP security experience(preferred)
