Job summary

Westernacher Consulting GmbH is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant based in India. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, specifically in S/4HANA Sales & Distribution.

You will participate in and drive implementations, optimize O2C processes, and ensure effective product availability checks. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience are essential for this role, along with exposure to Advanced ATP.

Job description

We are looking for experienced SAP SD Consultants with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects (domestic & international). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in S/4HANA Sales & Distribution, with exposure to Advanced ATP (aATP) and availability to join at the earliest.

Responsibilities

• Participate and drive SAP SD implementations across all project phases – Blueprint, Design, Build, Test, Go‑Live & Support
• Configure and optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Pricing & Billing
  • Delivery & Shipping
• Work on aATP (Advanced Available‑to‑Promise) capabilities and ensure efficient product availability checks
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Collaborate with ABAP, integration, and cross‑functional teams (MM, FI, TM, etc.)
• Support global rollouts and localization requirements
• Conduct system testing, UAT support, and end‑user training
• Provide post‑go‑live support and continuous process improvements

Experience and Skills

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in SAP SD consulting
• Proven experience in multiple end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects (global preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle
  • Pricing, Billing, Delivery Processing
  • Credit Management & Output Determination
• Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA SD
• Exposure to aATP / Advanced ATP is highly preferred
• Experience in integration with MM, FI, EWM, TM
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience in international rollouts or multi‑country implementations
• Knowledge of 3PL or logistics integrations
• SAP Certification (SD / S/4HANA)

• Ability to handle client interactions independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
