Job summary

Jobtailor in India is seeking an experienced SAP PM Application Management Specialist to handle day-to-day PM support, incident management, and change requests. You will advise on SAP PM designs, maintain documentation, and ensure timely resolution of issues across stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in SAP PM, implementation experience, and SAP PM certification, with flexibility for shifts and on-call duties to support critical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science) or comparable experience.
3+ years of experience in SAP PM, preferably with a global client.
At least 1 year of implementation experience in SAP PM.
Responsible for providing support SAP PM module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onsite model.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
Flexibility in managing work hours due to volatile Application Management work including shifts and on-call.
Experience in integration of plant maintenance with MM, QM, and PP modules.
SAP Certification in SAP PM.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day SAP PM application management support for IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP PM solutions and designs.
Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts.
Work closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are addressed timely.
Handle change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements.
Defect resolution and defect analysis related to PM.
Keep abreast of industry trends, SAP best practices to drive efficiency through automation.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support to ensure SAP system availability.
Available to work on shift hours depending on client requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
3+ Years of experience required in one or more areas within SAP PM preferably with Global client.
At least 1 year of implementation experience
Responsible for providing support SAP PM module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Support incident solving by analyzing incidents raised by users and provides solutions.
Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onsite model.
Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements
Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
Good experience in SAP Plant Maintenance activities.
Working experience on Plant Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and Refurbishment and Warranty Claim Processing.
An understanding on establishing pieces of equipment and functional location structure, maintenance BOMs
Experience in integration of plant maintenance with material management, quality management and production planning modules
SAP Certification in SAP PM
