Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SAP FSCD professional to lead implementation and enhancements of FSCD solutions for insurance clients. You will drive collections and disbursements improvements, analyze financial data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of FSCD experience, strong ABAP familiarity, and the ability to design and deliver end-to-end FSCD solutions for global clients.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years in SAP FSCD in the insurance domain.
• Ability to assess, design, and develop working SAP FSCD solutions for global clients.
• Business requirements management for insurance processes; translate to solution design.
• Design of functional/technical concepts in SAP FSCD; communicate with process leads and clients.
• Experience in SAP FSCD with understanding FSCD processes in insurance.
• Deep knowledge of master/transactional FSCD data.
• Knowledge of key FSCD processes: KCLJ, invoicing, dunning, payment plan, payment run, broker reports, write-offs.

As a Senior SAP FSCD (Financial Services Collections and Disbursements) professional, you will play a key role in optimizing financial processes within the organization. This position offers the chance to lead the implementation and enhancement of SAP FSCD solutions, driving improvements in collections, disbursements, and overall financial management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial operations align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Implementation: Lead the configuration and deployment of SAP FSCD solutions to meet business needs.


• Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to enhance collections and disbursement processes.


• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.


• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with overall business strategies.


• User Support: Provide training and support to end-users on FSCD functionalities and processes.


• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues related to the FSCD module, ensuring system reliability and performance.


• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides.

Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.

Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• SAP FS Collection and Disbursement (FSCD) with excellent understanding of Key accounting processes of FSCD and standards in insurance industry.


• Should be familiar with integration of FS-CD with Key SAP insurance modules (FS-CM, FS-PM, FS-RI and FS-ICM) and SAP Finance modules SAP FI Experience with ECC GL and any financial General ledger experience relating to SAP insurance / banking products is added advantage.

Ideally, youll also

• Address and resolve issues related to the FSCD module, ensuring system reliability and performance.


• Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.

What we look for

• Need to assess, design, and develop a working SAP FSCD solution for our global clients.


• Business requirements management on the Insurance Business process, translate functional requirements into solution design.


• Design of functional and technical concepts in SAP FSCD Interact and communicate with the Onshore Process leads and in some cases the end client as well as part of the implementation cycle, Good functional knowledge in the areas of financial accounting within the financial services industry.


• Experience in SAP FS Collection and Disbursement (FSCD) with excellent understanding of Key accounting processes of FSCD and standards in insurance industry.


• In depth knowledge of master data and transactional data in FSCD.


• Knowledge on key FSCD processes such as KCLJ, invoicing, dunning, payment plan, payment run, broker reports, payment lots, return lots, document posting, subledger account determination, collection agency, reversals and write offs.


• Must have worked in at least one to two end to end SAP FSCD implementations.


• Techno functional experience preferred with ABAP knowledge (FQEVENTS, Mass activity framework, BDT).
