Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our global delivery team in India. The role requires strong experience in SAP Basis, S/4HANA, HANA, and cloud integrations, with 8+ years in 24x7 operations.

You will be provisioning SAP systems, performing upgrades and maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance in a hybrid cloud environment. Excellent communication and Linux skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with SAP Refresh on HANA DB and SAP S/4HANA support.
• Proficient in SAP provisioning, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and public cloud administration.
• Strong scripting (Shell, Perl) and DevOps tooling familiarity.
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provision SAP systems and manage SAP Basis operations.
• Perform add-on and support package upgrades and migrations.
• Handle 24x7 operations and system monitoring for performance.
• Manage SAP HA/DR, backup/restoration, and cloud deployments.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps teams for automation and tooling.
• Configure and maintain Solution Manager components and LMDB/SLD.
• Support Linux-based SAP environments and ABAP system setup.

Job Summary

SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years’ experience. Experience of working in 24x7 operations and should be a team player Good experience of SAP Refresh on HANA DB. Need good experience on SAP S4HANA support. Expertise in SAP system provisioning. Expertise in SAP Add-on upgrade, Support package upgrade Good experience on handling issue related to BODS, Data Services and SLT. Knowledge of Cloud connectors. Expertise in Solution Manager basic configuration like managing SLD, LMDB, EWA, Managed system configuration and technical monitoring. Knowledge of SAP HA/DR and backup/restore technologies Experience in handling public and private cloud administration Expert knowledge in System Monitoring, system performance, SAP software logistics, client copy, and ABAP system setup are a must Expert knowledge in Linux environment Understanding of cloud architecture is must Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive can-do & self-starter attitude. Experience with Public cloud is must. Certification will be an added advantage. Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl) will be an added advantage Knowledge is other DevOps tools for automation will be preferred.
